August 16, 2024 – Cleveland Public Power crews received a helping hand from American Municipal (AMP) member utilities Hudson, Orville and Wadsworth to restore the more than 34,000 CPP customers who lost power following the Tuesday, August 8 storm.
CLEVELAND – The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning beginning today at 11 a.m. and extending through Friday, June 21 at 8 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued high wind warnings for Cuyahoga County from 4 p.m. Friday until 1 a.m. Sunday. Winds could reach gusts up to 50 mph at times.
Fall is officially here, and temperatures are falling just like the beautiful leaves. With colder temperatures, homes are chilly, prompting the use of space heaters and furnaces to keep warm.
